how do i commission a piece?

I am located in Brooklyn, NY and offer both in-person and virtual consultations. I welcome all genders and body shapes. 

what can I expect to pay?

This is a common question and I believe in full transparency when it comes to commissioning a piece.

Bespoke outfits have a $1000 minimum and usually go up from there. Individual pieces have a $500 minimum.

I do My best to give an estimated range in cost at the time of your appointment. Since every design is different, exact quotes cannot be given. Sometimes there will be a 10-15% change in the final cost vs the initial quote. This can be due to many factors - estimated vs actual time for making pattern corrections and mock ups can vary, ordering of custom materials (including and not limited to hardware, custom colors, laser designs and trims), additional fittings and mock ups, and/or design changes.

Please note bespoke orders are subject to sales tax.
 

what is the processing time?

Generally, the minimum timeline is 4-12 weeks, design depending and My current workload.

Do you take rush orders?

I can certainly accommodate your special event. However, any order placed under the 4 week minimum incurs a $250 additional fee plus applicable expedited shipping fees.
 

Do you offer repairs & Alterations?

Please book a drop off here. Repairs and alterations start at $50/hr with a minimum of one hour. Generally, these are done in batches once a month.

Please note I am unable to guarantee repairs for chlorinated latex or repairs on garments older than 10 years.
 

Do you lend garments?

Sometimes. The nature of My business is bespoke so there isn’t stock to choose from. I can only offer My personal collection or photoshoot samples, if available. Please note I do not carry items smaller than a size Medium.

Please provide a pull letter for indicating the intended use of the garment, as well as any anticipated publications or photographs. Requests for custom made items will be processed as an order.
