My Story

I’m often asked about My origin story; When did I get into latex and how did I become “queen k” in New York City’s kink community?

I moved to New York CIty from Buffalo, NY at the age of 17, fresh out of high school, straight into the dorms at the Fashion Institute of Technology. My roommate’s goal was to become a famous Dominatrix and it was her who had me try on a “gummy latex” dress. It wasn’t too mind blowing, if I have to be honest.

A summer later, I was taking a late night stroll in Midtown, and was approached by a gentleman, who bluntly asked, “Do you want to be a Dominatrix?” At the time, I was working a horrible retail job for $8/hr. Juggling school during the day was a nightmare. I responded with a shrug and “sure.” He asked Me to come with him (dungeons were hidden all over Midtown); I checked out the space, sat in on a session and was hired on the spot. I worked the graveyard shift, midnight to 6am, often working on My schoolwork during slow times. Goodbye retail, hello nightlife!

That winter, My dungeon was chosen to host the play area of a party called Byte. I met another gentleman that night, taking him on as My submissive. He took me shopping at Purple Passion and purchased My first latex outfit. Being a die hard PVC gal for years, this felt like quite the wardrobe upgrade. I’ve never worn PVC apparel since.

Soon its 2005; 2 years into my New York City life. If you’re good at math, then yes, I’m only 19 at this point.

Upon meeting The Baroness at another event, she promptly requested I be in her upcoming fashion show. I performed a mini burlesque act with the infamous Jo Boobs, wearing a latex bikini and long opera gloves, accessorized by pearl necklaces. Backstage, it came up in conversation that I was a full-time fashion student at FIT. The Baroness was about to open her Lower East Side shop and was in need of a new assistant.

By spring, I became known in the community as “The Baroness’s Assistant”. I ended My Domme work, and focused on making a lot less money in much more desirable work environment. I mainly worked on patterns and creating garments for bespoke clients in addition to tending to the retail store. I attended as many kink events as I could, building connections and friendships that are still around to this day. The Baroness wasn’t just My employer; she became (and continues to be) My mentor in many facets of My life.

Post graduation in 2007, I entered the world of corporate fashion. The industry began to collapse with the recession of 2008. I continued to hone My craft, creating latex looks for Myself (and whichever lover I had at the time). While still active in the local NYC scene, I started traveling to other cities for fetish weekends.

  • 2013, I began taking commissions for friends and transitioned My corporate life from full-time to freelance.

  • 2015, I formed My LLC and produced 3 fashion shows.

  • 2018, I was featured on Racked, a media production company specializing in behind-the-scenes features of small fashion and beauty companies. I was showcased as a latex designer who’s designs were a unique blend of fetish and fashion. You can check out the video here.

Eventually, the cost of living in NYC led me back to a full-time corporate 9-5. I remained there through the pandemic, taking very few commissions due to My heavy workload and long commute.

February of 2022 arrives and I’m laid off. I admit, I sulked; fashion is a toxic industry full overworked, underpaid designers. I was one of them, burnt-out several times over. I had no idea what to do; I didn’t want to go back to fashion but I didn’t have another skill set.

In late March, I received a commission from a celebrity stylist (thanks to The Baroness’s referral) to create several pieces for a prominent hip-hop artist. Word got out I was back to making latex and the commissions began to roll in! Whether I was ready or not, the rubber community was calling Me. There was no looking back.

Today, I design, create and teach all things rubber related.

I thrive on bespoke latex commissions. I love designing for clients and bringing their ideas to life.

I continue to be active in the kink communities worldwide, which includes producing rubber play parties here in New York with My family at Gloss Group.

I teach “How to Make Latex” in collaboration with My friends at Hit Me Up.

I’ve always used fashion to express Myself and its so important to Me that you feel your very best in My latex creations.

Thank you for being here and supporting My art!
