My VIsion
I’ve always been intrigued by latex as a material. It does its own thing; how it wants to drape, if it stains, if it chooses to explode off your body. There’s a puzzle solving aspect that I really enjoy; how can I get you to not know its latex until you’re right next to Me?!
Working for the The Baroness was unique in that, she was at the time, one of the few designers who crafted latex garments in color. VS Pink was a signature color in the shop. Pink latex!?
Now I find myself endlessly obsessed with the UV reactive neon colors. Everyone wears black. I’m a New Yorker, so of course I wear black.
At a kink party? You better believe I’m the brightest one in the room! Glowing, in fact..
From normal everyday silhouettes to campy wordplay appliqué and subtle odes to infamous albums, My personal collection is bright and fun. I have experimented with screen printing in my apartment (yes, I made a mess), making umbrellas, fans, incorporating rhinestones and pearls to elevate simple silhouettes into fantastical, yet wearable, creations.
I truly believe latex is for every body. It doesn’t need to be tight; loose and flowing is just as impactful. My priority is always comfort.
Fashion should be fun, empowering, and overall, you should feel good. It’s a unique feeling when you witness someone’s first experience with latex. It gets even better when they take that first look in the mirror! Everyone suddenly stands a bit taller with a little more confidence and a lot more of that “wow, that’s me!'“ look in their eyes.
Let’s be real; I do what I do just to see the look on people’s faces!
